• We’ve opened a showroom in Somerset

We’ve officially launched a showroom in Somerset to complement our national e-tail business.

Our new shop, stocking contemporary homewares, is on the second floor at the award-winning Emporium Somerset in Wellington, Somerset.

We’re delighted to have opened our first store in Somerset. The Emporium has a wonderful reputation and just the sort of clientele we’re hoping to attract.

Our range includes everything from kitchen items through to furniture and lighting. We stock many design-led products that are ethically produced and are just that little bit different from the everyday items you might see elsewhere.

We offer contemporary, luxury interior, homeware and gift items, many of which have been handcrafted. Our aim is to provide unusual pieces for the home that are useful, as well as stylish and beautiful.

The Emporium very much matches our style as it offers the perfect environment for anyone who prefers a boutique shopping experience and who appreciates a customer-orientated service.

We’re stocking a range of ceramics, glassware, table decorations, cushions, lamps, shades, occasional tables, chairs, small storage items, candle and tea light holders in our new shop in Wellington.

Cato Cooper, Co-owner of The Emporium Somerset on Mantle Street, which sells thousands of home and gift items, says: “It’s always wonderful welcoming someone new under our roof and it’s great to be able to offer yet more products to our lovely, loyal customers.

“Having more businesses here attracts more people into our building and that’s good for everyone. The items Azalée stocks are contemporary, sophisticated and unusual. I love the products that have a nod to the Nordic and those with simplistic lines.”

The Emporium Somerset is home to more than 50 shopkeepers selling thousands of homeware, garden and gift items.

Housed in a Victorian chapel, it stocks cards, home accessories, furniture, home and garden wares, knick-knacks and a selection of children’s toys.

As well as running the store, Cato also specialises in restoring furniture and runs a paint and home accessories studio and workshop in-store.
